The weekend that wore me out!!!
Oh man, I have been SO tired the past few days...AND I KNOW WHY!
I usually go to Zumba 3 times a week, but this week I only went twice..Monday & Tuesday. My next day would usually be Thursday but since Abby, Ella & Shelby all had things going on & didn't go, neither did I. But I so wish I would have gotten myself up & went anyways because I have totally felt the difference.
Today I got measured & weighed for my first time at Curves since I started! I haven't been on a strict diet like I should have been so I'm guessing that's why I only lost 2 pounds & a couple inches all over...hopefully I can work my tail off this month (agh! Thanksgiving?!) And try & get some more of this weight down! Denise made me feel pretty good about it because she said the first month you usually don't lose a lot of weight or inches since your body is building muscle & pushing the fat out...soooo yeah! I also felt better when I read the weight management book & it said that the next month or so will be about the little things...like going to 3 sessions in one week, or cutting out certain bad things for you...& when I started to think about it, I was like man! 2 pounds isn't too shabby...it could have been nothing at all! And man, I've been going to workout faithfully at least 3 times a week for a month...that makes me proud considering I never could have done that before! And I started to think of when I first realized my arms weren't as jiggly as before...or when my calf muscles really started to show up...or even when I figured out that my butt is getting smaller! hahaha So I guess I AM pretty proud of myself...now I'm ready to get this next month going! (:
But anywho, I went off on a tangent. What I MEANT to talk about was my wonderful weekend! Friday I went with Mom to South Pittsburg & picked up some makeup & stuff for my Halloween costume...that was fun! $30 later, I came home & it wasn't long until I was getting ready for our church Halloween party at Aunt Lisa & Uncle Jamie's! I had talked to Morgan Cain from Pleasant Grove the day before about coming out, but I wasn't sure that she'd want to. I told her to invite Mal, Jared, Nathan & whoever else from her church to join us as well so I found out before I left that her, Raeven, Mal & Jared were coming! I was stoked! So I met them around 8 our time & lead them to Aunt Lisa's house...we pretty much sat around the bonfire & talked the whole time until we decided to go on a hay(less) ride! It was SO cold & pretty lame..haha. But how can you have a Halloween party without a hay(less) ride?! So we all hung out until about 10:30 or so when Mal & them all had to leave... ): But it's okay!
The next day was Saturday. Me & Blake hung out at home all day, had some Subway, & when the afternoon rolled around, we started getting ready to go out to Pleasant Grove! We met up with Seth & picked up Layton & were on our way. I'm super glad Blake ended up going because he got a WONDERFUL blessing that night! (Which means I'll probably be getting to visit PG much more often! YAY!) I really love the people there! They're all so sweet & even though their crowd is much larger, it reminds me a lot of how our church is...so I feel pretty at home there. (: After the service, we went over to Jared's Uncle Jonathon's house & watched the AL game & hung out & talked. Pretty good time there too...except church had got out at 9:30 their time...so that meant it wasn't long until we had to start heading home! Bummer. But it was fun while it lasted!
Sunday morning I was really wanting to go back to PG since I've only been there on 2 Saturday nights. But I had told Blake I would go with him to Toney (which was also VERY okay with me...I've missed Ben & Bailey!) So we headed that way around 10:30. We got there a very few minutes before church started & I saw my other twin (besides MAL) Skyler! People REALLY say we look like twins...I guess we do favor because I'm always getting called Skyler & she's always getting called April! Strange, huh? Anyhow, we sat there during church & it lasted quite some time (as all Toney meetings do!). But finally church was over & we went to have dinner. We still hadn't been sure what we were going to do about that evening... to go back home or to stay out at Toney?...that is the question. Finally we just called mom & told her the news..we were staying for night service! So we went to Bail's house to hang & apparently have a massive let's tickle Bailey fight (Me & Lindz only haha) while the boys sang songs & Ben played the piano! All too soon, it was time to go back for church. It was supposed to be communion night & it looked like they were going to have it for a while, then suddenly a shout down broke out. After an hour or so, Bro. David called for the 4th neck hugging in a month & yelled out "dismissed!" soon after. I was shocked. Out of Toney before 7:30 their time?! That's crazy! Toney is KNOWN for it's campout meetings! (You know, "might as well bring your pj's cause there's gonna be a campout tonight!") So we headed to Applebee's with Bail, Lindz, Blake C & Ben & the other Chance's! I got a quesadilla burger & it was pretty darn awesome I gotta say! We headed home & was actually home before midnight! Yesterday was just full of record breakers!
This morning, ahem, afternoon, I woke up & was still so tired. I know I could have slept even MORE of the day away had mom not woke me up, but I got up anyhow. I ate brunch, found out the BEST news I've heard in a LONG time (!!!) & then watched Planet of the Apes which we had gotten through Netflix. (VERY weird movie, btw!) Then I cleaned up the kitchen & got ready for Curves. If you don't remember how that went, go to the top of this blog entry! (:

Sweet Taylor (:
Today, God called another one of his beautiful children home! Sweet Taylor went to be with Jesus today & I'm so happy for her!
I'm not going to pretend that I knew Taylor very well. I didn't. But I very much wish that I did.
The first time I really met her was a couple of months ago at Scottsboro. For some reason, she kind of took to me. I kind of was teasing her, trying to get her to sit over with us & she somehow coaxed us into coming to sit with her. I dropped my pizza & told her how embarrassed I was...she assured me no one had seen... (but they had. lol) I laughed so hard that day in the kitchen. Mallory was saying how funny her laugh was so we just sat there trying to make her laugh so I could hear it...then of course I teased the mess out of her for it. And for her country accent. She was so sweet. After that, she IM'ed me on Jared's Facebook account & was asking me if I was coming to Skyline to see her, and I was going to Skyline's singing! She was so excited...she immediately started making plans for us to sit together. "When Jared goes up to play with Steadfast, we can sit together! YAY!" So I told her she better not ditch me & she best hang out with me! We went to the singing & I hardly saw her all night..but in the kitchen she wanted me to come sit with her again...I told her I would later. But I got distracted & never did. I wish I would have. Any time I saw her, she was SO sweet to me. She made me feel special, like I was sooo cool. haha.
It's so hard for me to believe that she's gone now...I can't imagine what her family & close friends are going through. I say "close friends" because even though I didn't know her very well, I've considered her a friend since we first met. Everything I've heard about her has been so wonderful. Such a beautiful, wonderful girl. Heaven sure has gained a precious angel today.. she has no more worries or cares... it really can't get much better than that ya know! She has it made!

Miracles do happen!
When I was 5 years old, I was always sick...I couldn't breathe good & the doctors kept diagnosing me with bronchitis. Finally, one doctor got his facts straight & realized that I had asthma. He sat my mom down & pretty much told her I was going to die. "One day you'll walk in her room, & she won't be breathing", he said. Well, of course that tore my mom up. I was her baby. She didn't want me to die. So she started to pray. Any time it came to mind. She wouldn't watch T.V., if she was washing dishes & the Lord told her to pray, she just did it. Vacuuming- ":pray"...she just did. One first Saturday night it was communion at Brown's Chapel. My brother was sick with the flu & mom told Dad to go on to church (he had just received the holyghost) & she would stay with Blake. After, a little persuading, Dad agreed to go on... "Take April with you," mom told him. She just had a feeling that I needed to be there. So he got me ready & took me on to church with him. I barely remember that night, so this is mostly what I've heard in testimonies. But they said that night I was laying in my Aunt's lap, asleep. You could hear me breathing through the entire church (or TRYING to breathe)...apparently I was having an attack. Once communion began, they woke me up & Bro. Lawrence gave me the communion juice. Dad said you could see as I drank it, that my breathing was changing. That night, the Lord healed me of asthma. And I really don't care if you believe it or not, because I do. And I did even then. I don't know that anyone told me what had happened, but that night, when we pulled up, Mom said she was standing right in the middle of the living room floor. She didn't know why, but she just was. She was waiting to hear what had happened. Mom said that I (as a 5 year old little girl) threw the door open & said proudly to mom "Mama, I'm healed!" I just knew! The LORD did that for me & I KNOW he did. I have NEVER had a problem with my breathing since!
I tell you all of this to prove to you that GOD DOES MIRACLES. There is currently no cure for asthma. So how did I go from having to have breathing treatments every little bit to being able to breath as a normal person would? THE LORD. That's how. For anyone who hasn't heard, Taylor McLain was in a terrible wreck last night & is in VERY bad shape. I don't know how much I should really say about it...but I just want to let everyone know that we need to pray for a miracle. I know the Lord can perform miracles cause he performed one for me! I don't want to get anyone's hopes up & I do realize that if she is supposed to go & be with our Lord, she will! I want whatever is best for her! But even with me not having the holyghost, I believe He can help her! I want so badly for Him to! So if you will pray with me & the many others that are praying for Miss Taylor McLain, it would be so greatly appreciated. Maybe if we all get our hearts towards this one thing, the Lord will heal her too!

Hilton Head/Savannah trip! (:
So Wednesday morning around 8:30 we headed to beautiful Hilton Head, SC! We got there around 5 (I think! lol) & went grocery shopping & such before we headed to the beach to check it out! It was so dark that you could hardly see (but the moon was awesome!) & we only stayed out there a few minutes since it was so chilly...but I was sooo excited to get there the next day!

Thursday morning we got up pretty early, ate a really awesome breakfast & went to the beach! It was absolutely stunning! I fell in love right then! (: The beach there is so awesome! It's loose sand at first, & then it's flat the rest of the way. Like, more flat than loose. It's so cool to not have sand blowing all over you all the time!!!
I was excited about how my "A" turned out! lol
We got a little sun that day!
That night we cooked tacos & just hung out at the house playing Phase 10 & such! (Well the boys went shopping of course. lol)
Friday morning we woke up early again & went back to the beach! It was more overcast that day so me & Bailey decided to go walking once we realized our sand castle was probably gonna fail. lol We head out walking...and walking...and walking. Before we knew it, an hour HAD to have passed & there's no telling how many miles we had walked barefoot. It was so easy to walk down the beach, but once our feet began to hurt & we decided to turn around, we figured out that it was NOT as easy to walk back. The whole time the wind had been pushing us forward (making it so easy to walk) & on the way back, we were walking against it! We ended up being gone for over 2 hours, easy. And SO tired when we got back! We decided to go to the pool & try it out...well, it was FREEZING. lol They had it set in the shade & it was not warm at all...like, I went ahead & eased in...I stayed in about 3 minutes & I was shaking. But once I got out, it felt amazing! We layed out trying to get more sun but we didn't get too burnt.
That night we decided to go shopping with the boys at the Tanger Outlets & there were SO many good sales. I could have blew sooo much money but I stopped myself. I ended up getting a cute button up & tank for like $10 at Old Navy...& I was stoked! They had an amazing sale & that's definitely one of my favorite stores ever! When we got back from shopping a few hours, we went back to the house & made little personal pizzas (sooo good!) & back to the beach to look for sand dollars & stuff. Ben actually found one too! And he didn't realize til we were on our way home that it was illegal to pick up sand dollars that are still alive...oops. Once we got out there we were the ONLY ones on the beach...for a little while. Mom was with us & you could tell a storm was coming up, so we were trying to find what we could quickly...a few minutes in about 6 big guys came out on the beach talking to us. I only saw one up close (it was so dark) & he was pretty cute. Lol Then one struck up a convo with Mom. They said they had just gotten there & wanted to check out the beach (just like we did when we first got there)..they seemed harmless enough but soon it started to rain so we ran back to the car & headed back to the house. We ended up playing Phase 10 til like 1 a.m. & then me & Bailey went to our room to watch Friends & quickly fell asleep.
Blake jokingly picked up Bailey & accidentally dropped her on the stairs. This is her pouting face. lol
Saturday morning we got up with plans to go to the beach one last good time, & then Savannah that night. But once we set up our reservations for the Old Savannah Haunted Tour & Pirate's House dinner, Dad just decided he wanted to "make a day" of being in Savannah. We were gonna have Alicia meet us because she was on the beach (she was going with us to Savannah) but it ended up where we just met her & picked her up & headed towards Savannah! Well, my feet were still sooo sore from our beach & outlet walking, & I brought ZERO pairs of comfortable shoes (only flip flops & heels that I didn't need). But we decided to stop at the outlets & get some shoes for me...& Ben wanted to pick up some sunglasses at Nike. After FREAKING out cause I couldn't find any comfortable shoes that were a reasonable price, I finally found some Vans. I put them on & they were too long & not too comfortable but I was so tore up by then (I know, tore up over shoes? But I was so miserable!) I just said let's get em. Once I got to the register, they were only $10! Cha-ching! So I got them & some socks (that cost more than my flippin shoes! UGH!) And we headed out again. By THAT time we were all SUPER hungry so we stopped at Wendy's in the middle of nowhere between Hilton Head & Savannah & got some grub! After chilling at Wendy's for a while we finally headed AGAIN to Savannah...& made it this time (:
We took a tour of Old (Haunted) Savannah & it was SO awesome! When I was looking through my pictures later, I saw a TON of orbs, random lights & even some faces! SUPER creepy! After that, we went to The Pirate House to eat & check out their haunted rum cellar...I felt things in there that I have NEVER felt. They told all the girls to get in this one corner so me, Alicia & Bailey did...immediately the hairs on the back of my neck stood up, it felt like someone was touching my leg, playing with my hair, whispering in my ear, & I kept seeing smoke out of the corner of my eye (that I found out later, Alicia had seen too!) It was sooo strange! (Here's some pics from that!)

That night, Bailey & my nerves were tore up pretty big time, so we didn't end up going to sleep until 4 a.m. even though we were leaving the next morning!
We got up Sunday morning & headed out of town. It was a little rainy so our plans to go to the beach & take sunrise pictures got spoiled sadly. We went to the souvenir shop & picked some stuff up, then got in the car to go eat "breakfast". And hour & a half later we stopped at Zaxby's for our so-called breakfast. But it was gooood (as always!). Then we headed home. We were pooped so we slept a lot of the way...but about the last hour or so we got super hyped & woke up. We got home around 5:45 & hung out at the house until Seth text us to go eat with him. Whitney & Brett went too & we ended up playing bubble gum, bubble gum & double, double..old school stuff man! It was really fun! (: We headed home & I went to sleep around midnight. I slept SO good! Gotta love some good sleep in your own bed (:
The trip was SO amazing & I'm so glad Ben & Bailey went with us! It made it that much more special to get to experience everything with them (: Now, I'm pooped after Zumba & flirting with the ADT guy so I'm probably gonna head to bed. Night ya'll! (:

You make me happy, whether you know it or not!
Yeah that has nothing to do with my weekend..it's just what I'm listening to right now (:
So my weekend was pretty awesome again! lol
Friday night my cousin Rashae got married to her love, Cody McCreary. Sad night in my life. lol I grew up with her (although she's about 3 years older than me) & I love her to death! But I held it together..only teared up a couple of times. It was a sweet ceremony..pretty laid back..& Cody wrote her a song to sing to her! AGH! I usually don't like that kind of stuff but it was SOOO sweet! Especially since it was a song about them & them spending the rest of their lives together...<3 Anywho, it was fun afterwards too! I was one of eight servers so as soon as we got down stairs me & Hannah BRIDGES (weird, I know.) ran to the cupcake making station. lol So we got THE best job, helping little kids make their cuppy cakes! haha Oh, & some adults... (*ahem* Bro. Barry *cough*) but it was awesome! And about half way through, Loren came & joined Hannah & Shaun came to sit by me. That was interesting. lol Soon, we were also joined by Kacy & Whitney & we were most DEFINITELY the loudest station & had the most fun out of everyone..I'm just saying. (: But by the end of all the running around & the 3 kabillion pictures they took of the bride/groom/family...it was like 11:30 when they got to leave! So I was POOPED. But it was hilarious & fun (:
Saturday morning we got up & got ready to head to Huntsville for JK's surprise birthday party! And I believe I can say he really was surprised! We all met at his favorite restaurant, El Mariachi's right by his house... he came in grinning from ear to ear. I think he was glad to see us! (: After we ate, chatted & laughed, we headed over to their house to hang out. They played some music (I tried to act like I already knew how to play the banjo...it didn't work. ): But I will know soon! (:) & we sang some songs. They attacked Ross...you know, the usual. It was really fun (: Around 4:30 they left for church & me & Blake went to hang out with Benjamin. (: We went to the mall & Dillard's at Madison Square is having a ginormous sale! Like, 65% off almost everything...it was crazy! Sadly, we got there about 20 minutes before they closed so we didn't really have time to look around. Bummer. But Blake & Ben each got some more of their obsession...COLOGNE. It was a really good price too. They were so excited, Blake hopped when he got to the parking lot. And that's very rare. lol After that, we drove around, went to Arby's & picked up some food & listened to the Alabama/Florida game on the radio! We didn't really know what else to do after that since everyone was either at church or at the Haunted Gin & we didn't wanna do any haunted houses so we can save money for the beach... (2 DAYS!!! AGHHH!!!) So we ended up heading home. But when we got around Scottsboro, Blake ended up talking to Aly & she invited us over to her house with people from church to eat pizza, chill & watch Bama whoop some tail. So we were at her house til probably some time around midnight. It was, of course, another great time though! (: Poor JK, though. Diehard Florida fan & had to see us Stomp the Chomp in the Swamp..okay I'm through feeling bad for them! haha. Florida/Auburn fans were being SO hateful about the game! I'm SO glad we won...just for bragging rights. I know I would have NEVER heard the end of it if my team had lost!
Sunday morning we got up & went to Big Cove with our church. We hardly made a dent in the crowd but Ben, Ross, Bailey, Lindz & Garrett came to hang out with us so it was pretty great! And Bailey finally gave me a confident YES to going to the beach with us! So it's gonna be the brother/sister duos! haha Ben, Bailey, me & Blake! Yipee! (: After church was over & we got done eating we went ahead & headed home. I laid down in the back seat & slept so it didn't seem like an hour & a half ride home... (oh, the benefits of having a van now lol) And when I got home, I slept some more. haha I know, very interesting day, right? But I did get to see some of my followers today! So that's exciting! (: Shoutout to the Rogers/Kelly clan! :D Love you guys!
Ah, okay...so now I'm just sitting here listening to like the best invention ever...Spotify, on my new Facebook Timeline! YAYYY! (: I lurv it. But I think I'm gonna watch MythBusters & maybe go to bed? I'm not sure how that'll work. I'm not used to being home so early on a Sunday night! haha. But I guess we'll have to see! I gotta work the next 2 days to make up for not being here the rest of the week...so maybe that'll make the days go by SUPER fast (hopefully not TOO fast..I have Curves & a lot of other things to get together...like PACKING! AHHH!!!) & it'll be Wednesday morning & we'll be leaving for Hilton Head, SC! I know I've talked a lot about it on here, Facebook, & Twitter. But you guys have to understand that my family NEVER gets to go on vacations! Especially not to the beach! So 5 days in Hilton Head is going to be absolutely AMAZING! I can't wait! (:

One Amazing Weekend!
Okie dokie, so here it goes.
Friday morning I woke up bright & early to go to our FIRST session at Curves! It. Was. AWESOME. I felt amazing after we got done...I've never been so excited to sweat. haha. But seriously, it was great...I can't wait to keep it going...I feel like it will be more hardcore this next week when we go THREE times. I wasn't sore at first & after church last night (I'll talk about that later) me & Shelby made the mistake of saying "Oh man, I'm not sore at ALL! I guess those stretches worked." T- 15 minutes later: "Shelby, my sides hurt..." "You got gas?" (HA!) "Uh, no! I'm pretty sure those workouts...worked." lol It was baddd. Suddenly BOTH of us started feeling sore EVERYWHERE. Arms. Legs. Sides...EVERYTHING. haha But it's the most exciting hurt ever! I love it! (:
Anywho, all day Friday I kinda laid around after that. That evening, Blake had a singing at Higdon so I got ready to go there...the singing was REALLY short actually. We were through with the first half in about 45 minutes. 45 minute intermission & about an hour & ten minutes for the second half. We were done before 10. So a few of us went to McDonald's to hang out & had a good time until they kicked us out. Bummer.
Saturday morning, we were gonna go to Stuart's birthday party...but we were too pooped. So we slept til like 11 & finally got up to clean. Mom & Dad got home with Taco Bell (YUM.) & we watched the Bama game for a while until I had to start getting ready. By 5, I had shower, hair fixed, clothes & hair products together & was on my way to Shelby's house! We left almost as soon as I got there (SHOCKER!) & was on our way to Scottsboro soon! Well, first we met someone for a photo pickup in Stevenson. Anyways, we went to Scottsboro Cato's hoping to find something nice & Shelby got some adorable shoes...but I found zip (I didn't really look). After that we headed to Wal-Mart to print a picture & then we were on our way to the car wash. Oh my Lord. When Shelby said that going through an automatic car wash in a dually was scary, I didn't realize HOW scary! I was very literally screaming in the truck when this thing looked like it was about to plow right through the windshield..AH! Talk about nerves being tore up...oh man. And of course there was a very handsome military-esque guy outside the truck...& there was a few awkward accidental exchanges. But that just made the whole thing MUCH funnier! After that pretty great adventure, we were on our way for the first time (well, for me anyways.) to Pleasant Grove! We weren't sure where to park & we literally pulled into the parking lot at EXACTLY 7 o'clock. So we just grab the first spot we see. By the church. By the FRONT of the church, to be exact. You can imagine how embarrassing it was walking in at the awkward silent part of church that happens in between the "We're so glad you're here" speech & the first song...especially after adjusting & REadjusting the parking of a DUALLY TRUCK right by the church. And of course I had my jangly noisy purse too. Oh woe is me. lol jk It was pretty funny. Church actually wasn't too long but we didn't end up going to Jared & Nathan's house after all...EVERYONE had other plans too so it was kind of a disappointment when no one went to eat with us. ): *sigh* So, Taco Bell drive thru (Yes, SECOND time that day) it was. We ate our delicious Taco Bell on the way to Bailey's house & once we got there, hung out with Sis. Tammy & Ben for a while. Then it ended up being me & Shelby in the living room , her reading a book & me about asleep when Bailey walked in...well, walking is an easy way to put it...how about CRASHED, STUMBLED, POUNDED her way in. haha. It scared the mess out of us.Shelby was like "Well, I hope that's Bailey..." Thankfully, it really was. They sat up & talked a while but I ended up asleep by 2 our time I think. I was very tired...DON'T JUDGE ME!
Sunday morning I woke up at like 7:30 thinking it was like past 10...then I woke up at 8...then 9...then 9:15 when I finally just gave up & got up to get a shower...& met Bailey coming out of her room to get her shower. So I went to her room & laid down/warmed up in the bed. lol We FINALLY got our tails in gear & made it to church a couple minutes early. Of course it was a camp out meeting at Toney (that's what we call there SUPERRR long services) & we were SO tired & bored! So...I know, this is awful...but me, Garrett & Shelby played M.A.S.H. during church. I KNOW, I KNOW. AWFUL! But it's true. And we made a hottie list...& we laughed until we cried. I'M SO ASHAMED! lol Not really, but anyways. It was fun. After church finally ended we hung with Andrew, Lindz & Bailey for a while & then headed home. Scratch that, headed to McDonald's for another photo order. THEN we went home. I ended up being 20 minutes late for prayer meeting (we're having church at Aunt Martha's until we can get in the church...) (NOVEMBER 23RD HOPEFULLY! AGGHHH!!!) & after church we had a meeting about fundraisers for the benches for the church. Hopefully we get some good participation & help from this stuff! So pleaseeee support us if you hear of anything!!! After the meeting, me & Blake went to Logan's Roadhouse in Tiftonia with Alexis, Taylor, Kristina & Evan...first time I've ever had a medium filet mignon (I'm not a steak eater) & I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was! Anyways, the new restaurant is VERY nice! I can't wait to go back!
So here I am now...still pooped & ready for bed...yet kinda wired at the same time. Ah. Zumba class tomorrow evening so I'm pumped for that!
