Best week I've had in a while!!! (:

So Tuesday evening (despite storm #389798 of the year) I went to Scottsboro! The brother went with me & we had a great time laughing like crazy & making up new lyrics to the song "Somewhere with You" by Kenny Chesney. I wish I would have wrote the words down cause it was amazing & now we can't remember what the words were! Ugh! But anywho, we ended up leaving like an hour early so we could just take our time going & that we did. We ended up being about 20 minutes early for church but I'd much rather be early than running late. So church went kind of strangely but it was good. Afterwards, we went to go get food & head back to Alyssa's house & after contemplating whether or not to go through the drive thru of Krystals or go to the lobby, we decided to go in. (Caleb Kirkpatrick actually tells the drive thru people he's going inside instead...me & Alyssa was just gonna drive off. That kid has manners! lol) What a mistake going in turned out to be. It took the 45 min. (Yes, that's FORTY FIVE MINUTES) to make 4 small orders. Like...seriously? There's a huge grill. Pump em out! Good grief. Anyways, we FINALLY made it over to Alyssa's & I met some of the Scottsboro kids that I didn't know yet. (Like Constance & Caitlyn) Me, Jasmine & Caitlyn ended up sitting on the porch most of the time talking to each other about anything & everything. It was nice. Around 11 people started leaving the house & we started to settle down again...that is until Adrian & Stephanie came in & we started talking about a trait that obviously runs in our family---sleepwalking. We told sooo many stories & were dying laughing! We laughed so much, me & Alyssa couldn't sleep when we got ready for bed! We tossed & turned for probably 20 minutes until I hear !!! *exaggerated sigh*!!! from Alyssa. I was like what? And she was like I can't sleep! I said, Me either! Let's go get some water or something. So we head to the kitchen & she realized she had a cold. So we start going through the cabinets looking for cold medicine (I had the sniffles too, mind you.) that was for nighttime. So we both took the nasty 2 tablespoons of Honey & Lemon cold medicine (yuccckkkk) & went back to the room. I would just like to make it clear at this point that I NEVER take medicine. Like...hardly even for a headache. So the least little thing does a doozy on me. So I get in the room & turned the light off but we were still wired so I turned the flashlight on my phone on & started doing shadow puppets on the ceiling. And we giggled like school girls. Then I tried to tell Alyssa a painfully long story that made absolutely no sense & I even was slurring my words! I don't know what was in that stuff but about 2 minutes later, we were both out like a light. lol We slept sooo good & felt VERY rested when we got up for church the next morning!

Wednesday morning I got up at 8 ish, before anyone else, & started getting ready for church. We went over & church didn't last very long. We ate dinner & they even had a little prayer meeting for some of the young girls & a few older ones. It was really cute. After that was over we went over to Alyssa's house to hang out for a while...actually, I took a nap. haha. But then I got up & hung out with them! (: That night we got to church & it lasted a little while...me & Mallory reunited with this gorgeous & sweet baby that we had met the night before & played with little Erin the whole time. She's got the most beautiful smile! Okay, back to the story. Afterwards, we went to someone named Miranda's house to eat some tacos & stuff. We headed back to the house thinking that we would have to get in bed for church the next morning but sadly, before we even left the driveway, Jazz told us about Sis. Vernie May (sp?) passing away. So the rest of revival was cancelled.  Me & Alyssa actually went on to bed fairly early & I got my stuff ready the next morning to head home. (I was gonna stay until after church Thursday night until it was cancelled). I met up with Brett at her work at 12 & went home. I had such a great time though with the Scottsboro peeps...I definitely plan to go out there again sometime! Hopefully soon! (:

So Friday evening we finally decided (after much debate) that we were going to go to Huntsville and hang out with the pals.

Then the storm hit.

I wasn't too bad nervous at first, but then Mom calls me & is like you need to go to Grandmother's house right now. There's a tornado headed towards Bryant. I'm like ohhh mess. So I run out the door. Then I realize I can't leave Bama there alone so I run back in & get him. He wasn't too happy about that. But luckily, in just a few minutes, the worst of the storms had passed & Mom & Blake got home so we started getting ready. (Oh yeah, storms don't stop these party animals!...RIGGGGHHHTT) We thought we were gonna be superrrr late since it was already like 5:30 & we were supposed to be at the restaurant at 7. But we got to Scottsboro & I called JK back to see where they were at & he said we had plenty of time to get there. We were going to Red Robin, Buffalo Wild Wings, Zaxby's. lol That's like our go to place. Love us some chicken. haha. But we did go to BWW first. The people had already given our table away once by the time we got there so we just went on over to Zaxby's. (I got these terriyaki boneless chicken wings & they were sooo good! They tasted like soy sauce! haha) So we hung out there for quite a while & just talked & laughed...& was frozen by imaginary poisonous darts... (WHAT THE MESS?!) Brett went on a air horn craze & was scaring the mess out of people with it. Good stuff. Anywho, we decided to go back to Hil's house & hang out there so the crew went over. (The crew being: Me, Brett, Kenzie, Hil, Blake, Garrett, JK, Ross, Ben, Brit & Aly!) We hung out there forever doing all kinds of junk. Blake, Eric & Kenzie played Xbox, Garrett & Hil played Ping Pong, Brit knocked the junk out of a boxing bag & the rest of us kinda sat around looking pretty. lol Around 11 people started leaving & it ended up being me, Hil, Brett & Eric watching Adventure Time...then Bailey came in! I was so happy! (: I don't get to see her much anymore so I miss her a wholeee lot! We hung out for a while & ended up going to sleep fairly quickly.

We woke up Saturday morning, threw on some clothes & went to Madison mall.We were meeting the boys at P.F. Changs at 12:30 and it was like 11. lol So we hurried & went over there...after quite a while, Brett finally got to Zorb! She has been wanting to for a while! Me, Hil & Bail just watched. Ain't no way I'm getting in a five feet plastic ball & trying to walk on water. Ain't happenin'. So I went into Hot Topic where I found a Hunger Games shirt for $6! I was sooo excited! lol Brett got the Zorbing done finally & we headed over to Bridge Street's P.F. Changs! It was soooo good! I got fried rice with chicken & shrimp & ohhh myyy Lord. lol It was amazing! JK got these fried green bean things that weren't that great. Obviously Chinese green beans aren't like country green beans or something. Eek. Anywho, after that we headed over to Orange Tree (which could possibly be in the middle of changing it's name to Peach Wave? It's confusing.) & got some froyo. It wasn't as good as Sweet CeCe's but they did have Cheesecake FROYO!!! It was pretty decent & got rid of the sweet craving we all had. The boys went on home & did whatever boys do & the four of us went to take a couple pics. We passed this clothing store that had a ton of DOGS IN IT! It was like an adoption thing going on & the puppies were sooo cute! We played with them for quite a while & FINALLY headed home. We dropped Bail off at work & went to Hil's house. Brett got her stuff together & headed home & me & Hil took a nap before we got ready to go to the funeral home for Blake Chance's grandmother. I met someone who reads my blog! haha How exciting is that!? Shout out to Sis. Susie Kelly! (: We stayed at the funeral home a couple of hours & decided we were hungry. JK decided we were going to Krystal's & that just didn't sound too good to me & Brit so Hil took us through Taco Bell's drive thru so we could get some food. Oh yeah, I got food for $2.16! You can't beat that man! (: We got over to Krystal's & of course all the boys wanted our food. lol TOO BAD! lol jk I did a switcheroo with the B-bro so he could have some Taco Bell as well. Hilary's allergies were soooo bad that night! She could hardly see. But she didn't want me to have to drive so she dealt with it. We stopped at the gas station & I went in to pay for it. When I came out of the gas station this guys looks at me & says "Excuse me?" as I walked by...I kinda kept walking but said "Yes?" (He was a little sketchy looking...) He held up his hand to his ear like a phone & says "Jesus on the main line, you can tell him what you want." and keeps walking. I was just like "uhhh...*giggle*" lol I didn't know what to say. I figured he was either making fun of me (I was in church clothes after all.) or Jesus wanted him to tell me that. lol Or he was gonna come back & rob/kill me. So I told Hil what happened & I was kinda nervous so I was like hurry & pump the gas & let's go! haha. So we jumped in the car & got outta there...you know...just in case. (: We got back to the house at about 10:20 & went to sleep. We slept almost 10 hours. For a couple of girls staying the night together, that's a big accomplishment!

We got up Sunday morning at 8 & got ready to go to Oak Grove's singing. Oh. My. Lord. Sunday was sooo much fun!!! The singing was really good (even if it was like a sauna in the back)! During the singing, Brit & JK got word that their cousin Rachel had received the holyghost at Pleasant Oak so they left to go see her. Me & Blake went to Subway & ate with Jameson & Mackenzie. After we got done, we headed back up to Grant to wait for church to start....even though it was a longgg time. lol On our way, the skies got VERY dark & it started to storm. I was really afraid we were gonna see a tornado but thankfully, we didn't. We got to the church & talked to Micah & Cody for a little while & were gonna try & go find Ernie's house (we aren't creepers, she had asked us if we wanted to come over earlier.) By the time we got there, they were coming back over to the church to have prayer (or singing) meeting so we just came back to the church. I saw Derrick Simpson in the parking lot & I was sooo excited that I did a little dance! I love that guy! (: So we went in the church & around 3:45 they started to sing...and sing...and sing. lol No praying. haha. But around 4:20 people started coming in for church so I went back in the back to sit down (I had been in the front singing with them.) And my best friend Lorie Edwards came in! I love her too! It was her birthday! (Happy birthday #3 Flossie!) So we sat back there & cracked each other up until church started (and I must admit, even a little afterwards.) Church didn't last long AT ALL. It started at 5 & we were out by 6:45. So everyone headed to Seth & Devan's house. This is where I really met & got to talk to the awesome Mr. Caleb Long! He's so cool! haha. Me, Him & Ernie sat on the porch & talked with different people for probably like 2 hours. It was sooo much fun! (If I marry anyone who happens to be out there reading this, I have decided that I want a big porch with rocking chairs & a swing on it. (:) We stayed out there for a whileeee & finally headed   home around 11 our time. It was just such a good day! I love revival season! (:
