Hilly G's birthday

So Friday night I get a text message saying "hey, do you think you could come out here Tuesday night and eat at Ichiban's for Hilary's birthday?" So I ask Blake (because he's my ride..) and he said he didn't know because of work and such. So my Tuesday night plans were quickly going downhill. Thinking I wouldn't get to go I didn't even ask my parents...I was just waiting to see what Blake decided to do. Well I talked to him Monday night and he very plainly said "NO. WE are not going." And I said "Oh really now? We? Well we'll see about that." So I talked to my Daddy. And surprisingly enough, he said "We'll see." (Which is Daddy talk for "Yeah pretty much.") So mom told me to just plan on going. I talked to Shelby about maybe hitching a ride with her and it ended up being perfect because she had no one riding with her and didn't really wanna go by herself! I went to work Tuesday and was counting down the hours until 4 when I could leave. Around 2:30 I curled my hair and by 3 I was almost completely ready. During the whole getting ready process I had a sweet little 3 year old saying "What's this? Ohh I like that. What's that? Oh I want that for Christmas! Pink ones! (referring to my hot sticks, btw. lol)"

FINALLY 4 o'clock rolled around and I got to leave. Blake took me to the bank to get my checks cashed and then on to Shelby's house. She still had baby Britton when I got there and the baby wanted me to talk in her Dora cell phone. About the time I had it to my ear, Shelby asked me a question. So not thinking, I left the phone to my ear as I answered her question. She got a kick out of how serious I was with a plastic Dora "cell phone" to my ear...mind you, I'm almost 20. lol Lacie came to get Britton and we headed out. We stopped in Scottsboro at Rue 21 and I bought Hilary an owl necklace (her favorite animal) and the guy at the register decided to take 10 minutes to put the thing in the bag! Shelby said she almost grabbed it from him and put it in  there herself. lol We then went to Wal-Mart where Shelby got pictures from the beach developed and bought a frame for Hilary's birthday present. I bought Hil a bunch of candy to go with the necklace. lol After finally finding cards and gift bags, we left Wal-Mart. On to Huntsville! We got to Brit & JK's house, meeting up with  them and Ross to all ride together. We hopped in Ross's ginormous truck and were almost late for our reservation at Ichiban. Luckily we got there minutes before Hilary did and actually DID surprise her. Bailey and Ben also came to celebrate with us. 

We had THE best cook EVER at Ichiban. His name was Kenny. lol Our white waiter? His name was Gillaume. lol But anyways, he was HILARIOUS and put on a fantastic show making a "Japanese birthday cake", a heart, lit his HANDS ON FIRE and then bowls and threw them in his hat! It was crazy! But amazing! I think he really liked our group cause we responded to him so he did more and more. I loved it. That Ichiban is 10,000 times better than the ones in Chattanooga! Anyways, we had a blast there! After we left, we went to the gas station so Ross could buy his "Sweet Dreams" cherry cigarettes. He was very happy that they had them. After him and Ben bought some, we went to Hilary's house to hang out a little bit before we headed home. We went to the game room and I watched Hil and Bail, and then Ben and Eric play "Zombies". It was the first time I've seen the crazy phenomenon sweeping the nation known as "Black Ops". lol It looked pretty cool although I would be totally awful at it. haha. So after a while, and after getting an amazing Alabama power band, we headed back to Brit and JK's said our goodbyes, and headed home. A pit stop at the gas station for a potty break and caffeine and around 12:30, we made it home. It was a great night with great friends! Happy birthday to Killary! (: 

Once again, my weekend...

was pretty great. lol Friday night we went to the Friends Singing at Stevenson and it was an absolute blast! The singing was amazing (especially New Harmony. lol) And it was just a lot of fun standing and clapping with everyone. It was great. Saturday night we went to the BC even though I really wanted to go to Tiftonia's singing. But afterwards, we went to Brett's house to play Kinect. And had an epic battle. lol Not really, but still. It was rough. lol

Then this morning I went to the BC as Blake went to Trenton. I wasn't feeling too hot. So me, Mom, and Grandmother went to Guthrie's, got some food, and came home to watch Eat. Pray. Love. I got about an hour in and went to take a nap. lol Tonight we went back to church at the BC, had a good service...and went to Krystal's afterward with Shaun, Erik, Layton, Josh and Tasha, Penny and Garreth and an older couple I honestly had no clue about. lol But it was fun. Lots of laughter of course. And ending with Erik getting a fry cup (courtesy of Blake) and running out to tell Layton he "forgot his chapstick holder". lol It was funny to see Erik run..(he runs like Forrest Gump.) lol But anyways. Now I'm home, tired as mess and gotta get up early in the morning to clean. Yayyy. But upside is, our living room should be done pretty soon! (Uncle Larry's finishing it) WHOO HOO! I'm super excited to see how it turns out! (: Well, I guess I'll blog again later. Peace homes! :D

Thursday Night

Thursday night we all (meaning our peeps and Huntsville peeps) decided to meet in the middle to have a St. Patrick's day party (one of mine and Shelby's favorite holidays!) So we went to Buena Vista in Scottsboro! The night consisted of eating on a giant table with ginormous chairs and eating cake outside on the pavement! hahaha

Friday Night

Friday night Blake's group, Liberty, had a singing at Claysville. The singing was pretty good first half but by the end I was pretty stinkin hungry. So Shae and Destiny asked me if I'd like to go to Chic-Fil-A with them, Cody and Brody...of course I said yes. So we head to Albertville for fooood.We got there and were pretty hyped up...just that Friday night feeling I guess! So we took a bunch of crazy pictures and just had a really good time! We got back to the church about 15 min after the second half started so we weren't out way too long. After the singing (during which I met the most adorable baby in the entire stinkin world, that I love so much because he looks like his Uncle Jesse, Dalton Stapler!) Shaun rode home with us and that was quite interesting. It was pretty late and I was VERY tired. And when I'm tired...I tend to get ridiculous. So there was a lot of obnoxious singing, throwing things, stupid jokes that probably didn't make any sense...that kind of thing. And it ended in me almost falling asleep on Shaun's bass case. lol But overall, it was a great night! (:

Saturday

Around 3 on Saturday we decided to head to good ol' Huntsville and spend the rest of the weekend with our pals so that's what we did. We got to Brit and JK's house and watched Madagascar 2...slowly adding people to our group as it continued. lol We started with Just Me, Blake and JK...then we added Ross....then we added Sis. Lanier....then finally Brit got gome. By the end of the movie, we were all cracking up. We then got up and got ready for church. We expected to see this amazing Super Moon when we got out of church and were all super excited for it...but we got outside and the moon looked totally normal. (Not til I got home did I find out it was huge when it first rose...what the junk?!) We had all planned to take these awesome pics of us holding up the moon and stuff....well that was a fail. lol We were all gonna go and eat somewhere when Bailey text me and said that her mom had made a TON of lasagna and they wanted us to come eat it. We were like woah! Free food AND hang out time? We're in! So we headed over. Her mom wasn't kidding when she made that lasagna lemme tell ya. It was AMAZING and there was SO much! 8 of us ate it and there was STILL leftovers! Well anyways we all hung out for a while and then went our separate ways. Me and Bailey headed to Hilary's while Blake and Ross went back to JK and Brit's. 

Sunday

Well Sunday we went to Riverton for church of course...I was so happy to see all of my second family again! I miss them when we're not around! But any who, church was pretty good but lasted a pretty good while. So it was later than usual when we got out and got done eating. So as we were all sitting outside in the beautiful spring air I told Blake "You know what? I'd like to stay out here tonight..." his usual reply would be something like "NO! We're going home! Blah blah blah, yadda yadda yadda.." but this time, he said "Well call mom and dad and see if it'll be okay." I was super excited! One key part of the plan was accepted! lol So I called mom and at first Dad said no about us staying out there because it was Sunday night and that's when we've been taught to be at your home church. But after a lot of "PLEASEEE Dad..they come out there with us all the time and stay on Sunday night...we owe them!" I got a "Make sure you're home no later than midnight." SCORE! So we stayed. (: We hung out at Brit and JK's until it was time for church again (well, the boys left for a while on a deodorant and Jolly Rancher run...don't ask.) and we headed back to Riverton. Church was good and lasted under 2 hours I believe! So we decided to go out to eat! Bailey and Ross had went to Huntsville but were wanting Arby's so I figured that's where we would go. But Adam suggested Applebee's and everyone was gung ho for that. So that's where we headed: Applebee's on North Parkway (I remember cause I had to ask JK about 20 times, "Where are we going again?" lol) We got there and after a fight with JK I FINALLY got to hold Baby Emmett for more than 5 seconds (: I was very happy! Darrell and Ashley even came to eat with us! We had a blast! (: I pretty much listened to Hil and Bail fight over who could cook better and what perks came if Blake married them the entire time...but it was cute. I'd gladly take either of them as a sister-in-law! (: haha.

Sunday&Sunday Night

Sunday morning we decided to go visiting at New Market! Church was good, but pretty short. We went to Savannah's house to eat and chill. I played foosball for the first time for real and ALMOST WON! But didn't. Cause Ashley Avans the foosball queen beat me! Anyways. We played with these trick things and I obviously am not very good at them. lol Darrell Avans discovered the fantasticness that is my Dualview Camera. ahaha. Then after church tonight we met people at Taco Bell and had a blast! And Blake Chance and Ben Gaines even stopped by to hang out with us on their way home from the Smokies! Totally made my night! (: Oh, and I gave Shelby her birthday cake that I made her 2 weeks late! haha

It's been a while...

Feels like it has been forever since I've blogged! A couple weekends though? Idk. But I've been to the Smokies and back and had our regular church meetings in that time. haha. So anyways, I really would love to blog about both the Smokies trip AND the weekend we had with our Huntsville friends partially for Blake's 22nd birthday...but since Shelby has already blogged on the Smokies trip, I'll stick with the past weekend. Well Friday night Hilary, JK, Ross, Shelby and Brett all met at the house and we headed out to Chattanooga! We met up with Mackenzie, James, and a few guys from Hytop to eat at Genghis Grill and chill! So that's what we did! And got some cute pics! (:
