When you're gone, colors seem to fade

Man, have I ever been busy. Well, I guess I'll start with Sunday before last...I don't remember where I left off really, so I guess that's as good a place as any. lol

Sunday morning me, Mom, Dad & Grandmother went to Mt. Pisgah for church. It was really good! Right before we finished singing, though, the power went out. Yep, community power outtage. And right after that, Destiny had a spell & couldn't even stand up! The Lord came by & helped her, they said a few words to the lost & gave altar call. It was getting REALLY hot by the time this all happened. I only stayed down in the altar a few minutes & was sweating sooo bad my clothes were sticking on me. Once I got up, sat back & talked to Macy & Cheyenne a little bit, my dad was ready to go. So we left & a few minutes later, Aunt Lisa & Uncle Jamie pulled up beside us. So we decided to go eat at Randy's in Trenton. After we got there, Shaun text me & said the power had came back on minutes after we left & it was cooled down again. Oh well. lol

That night, we went to Sylvania for church. We usually don't go anywhere but BC on Sunday night so it was a big deal that my whole family went. lol That night, the Lord REALLY blessed me in the altar & I'm so thankful. I feel like everytime I pray good, I get a little closer to getting the holyghost. Hopefully VERY soon it will be the final time I have to go, & I will have the holyghost finally! Afterwards, we ate at the church kitchen...mom & dad left but me, Blake, Hilary, Ella & Seth stayed. Church hadn't lasted too long so one we dropped Seth & Ella off at Higdon church to get their car, Hilary asked me & Blake (yep, I was the third wheel) to come to her house & watch Rio. So we stayed there til about 12 & finally got home.

Monday-Zachary came to fix our AC AGAIN & we sat & talked to him for about an hour or longer.

Tuesday- the biggest thing that really happened to me was I decided that I needed to delete my Facebook so I can focus on praying & more important things.

Wednesday- I went to church at Brown's Chapel

Thursday- We had a "date night". Well, that's what it was SUPPOSED to be. lol It got blown wayyy outta proportion. Hilary wanted to go to a Mexican restaurant on karaoke night so she could sing. I figured it'd just be her & Blake but she wanted me to go & bring a "date". Well, I'm not dating anyone & there's only one person I could think of that would probably go (as a friend) & I would have a good time with---Shaun, of course. So I asked him to go. So then it would be a double date. No. Blake asked Seth & Ella which was all well & good. Hilary asked Breanna & she asked Jonathon to go with her. Still, that was fine. Quadruple date? I could deal. Well once we got to the restaurant there was somehow, FIFTEEN people. Oh yeah. Word gets around quickly in Holiness-land. hahaha. It was okay though, we had a GREAT time & I met some new people! And I always love to meet new people. (:

Friday- I went to work & afterwards, came home & got ready to go to my little cousin Melisha's Sweet 16 party! It was Football themed & really fun! We had a great time & she got a lot of cute stuff & a lot of money! Go her! (:

Saturday- About 2 o'clock we went to Brett's house to hang out with her & Amber. We ate pizza & watched  The Adjustment Bureau (SUPER good, btw!) & stayed there til like 10 after 6 when we went to church. Church was REALLY good. Uncle Larry preached about a little bit of everything & just dismissed. He preached a while though & it was almost 10 when we got out. We were just gonna head home but Alyshia had text us to tell us to come by her house cause they were having food...that ended up being a lot of fun as well & we ended up staying there til almost 1! I must say, I was pooped & pretty much had to FORCE Blake to leave then! But I knew I was gonna have to get up early since it was Sunday AND first weekend!

Sunday morning-I got up, cooked breakfast, ate & got ready for church. We're still having church in the basement (since our church flooded) so I didn't really expect many visitors but was pleasantly surprised! Among the visitors were Bro. Mark & Sis. Tammy Cantrell & a couple from Florida, Luke, Devan, Jesse, Kacy & Whitney! It doesn't sound like much but altogether we had a nice crowd! Church was REALLY good again & pretty much everyone that got up, got a blessing. I was so happy! When people get blessings, it makes them want to come back! So yay! (: After church was over (it last about 3 & a half hours!) we went over to Aunt Lisa & Uncle Jamie's & had dinner. Yum. (: We all hung out, I took a 45 minute nap & then we went back to church.

Sunday Night-Church was kinda weird. lol We sang a couple songs & the Lord started to move. Their was no first prayer & Uncle Larry talked a little bit. They ended up having a neck hug---mid church. After that, they laid hands on, me, Hollie & Melisha a lot. Hollie started to pray! She finished & they encouraged her. They decided to go ahead & have altar call. Everyone prayed, did their thing & got up. A couple people testified & encouraged the lost & Bro. Evan said he needed to do something. He came & hugged me & laid hands on me. I started to pray again (because they told us when people laid hands on us, for us to raise our hands & pray) out of respect & I sat back down. After a little bit, they started talking to Uncle Jim & he prayed a little. Then Uncle Larry just looked at my little cousin Emily & said "Aren't you tired of being sad?" & she started to cry harder than she already was. Then he said "Emmy, do you want the holyghost?" & she said yes! Then he said "When do you want it?" And she said "NOW!" & he said "Do you wanna pray?" & she just walked out there. I really thought she was going to make it that night but she didn't. After a few more people testified, Uncle Larry said he felt like we needed to have church Monday night because we didn't need to let such an amazing feeling pass us. After church. Blake insisted that we go out to eat & we went to Rafael's. I text a few people, including Shaun, but no one really text back. Shaun said "naw." so I figured he was just in one of those moods & said okay. When I got there, Alicia Black met me at the front & said "Hey, Shaun & his family are here too!" & I was like that butt. lol But we talked to Erik & found out Higdon was having church too on Monday night! (Isn't it weird how sometimes it seems like if one church has an amazing weekend & decides to have church, there are others that do too? lol) I text some people about church hoping they'd come on Monday night!

Monday night- Church started at 7:30 & much to my surprise, Bro. Lee, Sis. Patti, Macy & Ashley came in! I had asked Macy to come but honestly didn't think she would. lol Then Kacy, Jesse, Seth & Whitney came in! I was like YES! Church started & it was getting good when the door opened & in stepped Bro. OLLIE! I could have cried! I love him SO much! He's one of my favorite talkers, preachers, whatever in the WHOLE WORLD! When he came in, he came in laying hands on people. Everyone started shouting & it was great. He had a friend, Bro. Teddy with him & he was so awesome too! Anyways, church lasted til about 10 again & all the young people got a blessing. It was great. I cried a lot, again. Bro. Ollie preached a little bit about Godly Sorrow & it made more sense to me than it EVER had. It was sooo good. After church we decided to go to South Pittsburg (since they go by slow time) & ate at Taco Bell. We only stayed there a little over an hour & then went to Sonic for ice cream. We had a LOT of fun with everyone (Macy & Ashley rode with us) & laughed a LOT. Especially hearing  Kacy try to say "Sushi", "Chef Salad", & "Massachusetts" & telling stories about our Smokies trip! It was a lot of fun. Oh, & then Kacy wanted me to ask Sonic for the Lord's Supper & a diet coke. ahaha. I settled on a "Communion Shake". (:

Anyways, as always, my life is great. My friends are amazing. My Lord is the best. I still have some things to work out, but I feel like everything's gonna change here soon, & for the better! (:
