SnOMYGOODNESS 2011
Well late Sunday night, early Monday morning we started getting SLAMMED by snow. In the end, we ended up with over 9 inches of snow in some places. It is so awesome. I haven't seen this much snow since I was 2 (Blizzard of '93). We went sledding today for the first time since I was like 4. And I've NEVER been sledding quite like this...
But it was AWESOME!!! haha

2nd weekend of January (:
Friday night my friends and myself went to Fort Oglethorpe, GA to eat at a Japanese restaurant called Kobe and it was awesome!!! One of our friends reserved a room and it was a karaoke room! lol It had a bridge from what part of it to the other side and there was a gazebo with a table for 6 people. Blake, Layton, Hannah, Shelby, me and JK sat on that table and watched Whose Line Is It Anyway? and watched JK be flirted/hated by a waitress named Hong. lol After we got through eating and hanging out there, we all went to Winner's Circle for laser tag and arcade games. The night was just an absolute blast. After we got home, Shelby stayed the night with me. We played Just Dance 2, Rock Band and took VERY random pictures...then stayed up until 6 in the morning talking about anything and everything. Best night in a long time! (:

Saturday night, me and Blake went to our friend Alicia's 18th birthday party at her house in Ider! That was a lot of fun. Keeping with the Whose Line...? theme, we played (or actually watched for me...) mini-games from the show. I didn't get pictures of the game Stand/Sit/Bend or the game Moving People.

Poor Caleb had to have his wrists glued to his chest, could never let go of that card, had to act like he was talking on a CB radio AND had to play a ukulele...all at the same time.
Sunday we didn't have church so we had planned to go to Rising Fawn. Sadly we didn't get up in enough time to get ready (we thought it started at 11:30) so we ended up going nowhere. Mom and Dad went to the funeral home. When they got home we ate Subway and watched Hot Tub Time Machine. lol Interesting day eh? haha. Supposedly there is supposed to be a "snowpocolypse" (Thanks Dustin) tonight here on the mountain with 3 to 5 inches and then 1-3 more inches of snow coming in tomorrow. Thank goodness we got our milk and bread! So far though, not a thing. So we'll see just how bad it gets here. Hope everyone has a great week! (:

Goodbye 2010...frill.
1. What did you do in 2010 that you’d never done before?
Stayed out ALL night shopping on Black Friday! (Probably, never again!)
2. Did you keep your New Year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Hm, I don't know that I made any resolutions last year besides lose more weight. And I did. So whoo!
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Hm...a few of my friends did actually!
4. Did anyone close to you die?

5. What countries did you visit?
None other than the U.S. Lol
I so wanna go to Ireland! AGH!
6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
I like one of Shelby's answers, and it's the first thing that came to my mind, self-confidence.
7. What dates from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
A few I'm sure. But I don't wanna go through that. haha
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Finally getting into a BUTTON-UP shirt that is TEN sizes smaller than I used to wear
is definitely up there. (:
9. What was your biggest failure?
I don't like the word failure. lol
I try to avoid it as much as possible.
But I guess my biggest failure was not getting to
the place spiritually that I need to be. I'm praying it'll be this year.

Well I had one of the worst stomach viruses that I've EVER had.

Lots, AND LOTS, of Cherry Carmex. hahaha

If things would have worked out with that one person.

No matter what happens, God has a plan. And everything will work out how he sees fit. He'll never do us wrong.
Laugh all the time. Love even more. Hug anyone and everyone that'll let you. Be friendly and kind, you never know when someone really needs that. Be careful who you tell things to, cause sadly, you can't trust everyone (as Shelby said). Make life what you want it to be. No one else can do it. Make it count. And remember every day that someone, somewhere, loves you. (:

To say that I'm excited for 2011 is an understatement!
This Friday night a few of us are supposed to get together and go to Chattanooga to just chill and hang out...my favorite thing to do. (:
Soon, me and my friend (and boss) Shelby will be doing our first formal photo shoot, engagement pictures for our friend Brittany and her fiance Derrick!
January 21st, my friend Brett is having a college graduation party! (Congratulations Brett!!!)
February is gonna be awesome because, for one, I'm going to the Smokies with Shelby and friends for Shelby's 18th birthday!!! It's gonna be AWESOME. Bubba Gump's, riding the strip, Wii games, junk food and good times with best friends? Can't get much better than that (:
And then hopefully sometime in February we're gonna head to Nashville for Ross and Shelby's birthday together...can you say CHEESECAKE FACTORY?!
Then sometime in March is our family get together in the Smokies! (YES! SMOKIE'S 2 MONTHS IN A ROW!!! haha) This trip is BEAST because we have a 17 bedroom, 19 bathroom house with an indoor pool right down the hill and it's not far at ALL from the shops! Spending time with the family you don't get to see much is always so much fun! And this year, all the second cousins get to come! Which means about 2 more (smaller) houses and even more awesomeness! haha.
Anyways, just the first 2 months of this year are gonna be kickin so I can't wait to see how the rest of the year plays out! (:
